At this step, you can choose the type of instrument you want to rent and find out the next available rental date. This is also where you can select the package and rental duration that interests you.
At this step, you will need to provide your contact information (address, email, phone, etc.).
At this step, proof of address and identity will be required, and you will have the option to upload your documents directly through the form.
This step is dedicated to confirming the provided information and reading and approving the rental terms and conditions.

Our rental lyres are available worldwide. Shipping fees vary depending on the destination country:
France: 50€ Europe: 70€ International: 125€
We offer several options for learning to play the lyre. Firstly, we have tablature collections available for sale on our website. Secondly, we organize masterclasses and online lessons for those who wish to deepen their lyre learning. These classes are conducted by professional and experienced musicians who will share their know-how and expertise with you. Lastly, we offer music lessons via video conference. Whatever option you choose, we are here to help you learn to play the lyre and progress in your musical practice.
1 – SHIPPING After receiving your order, we will send your rented instrument to the address you provided, and you will receive your package within five business days from the start of your rental period. Once the instrument is packed and ready for shipping, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking numbers for the shipment. You will also receive 3 photos of the instrument as attachments, confirming its good condition before shipping.
2 – RECEIVING THE INSTRUMENT -> Photos! Upon receiving the instrument, please send us 3 photos of the instrument via email (contact@lyre-academy.com) to confirm its good condition upon receipt. Please also inform us of any damages observed on the packaging or the instrument. Keep the cardboard box for future use during the return.
3 – BONUS! Upon receiving the instrument, send us your feedback via email (contact@lyre-academy.com), we always appreciate hearing positive feedback! Send us a photo of yourself with your instrument and leave a review on our website to receive a free tablature!

1 – NOTIFY US At the end of the rental period, if you do not wish to renew your agreement, please inform us by email before the 15th of the last month of your rental period, in order to allow us enough time to arrange for the instrument’s return and for you to settle the shipping fees.
2 – 3 PHOTOS! Take 3 photos of the instrument before shipment to attest to its good condition and send them to us by email. (contact@lyre-academy.com)
3 – PACKAGING Pack the instrument following these guidelines:
-Use a box of 40x60x20 (if possible, the original one).
-Wrap the instrument with multiple layers of bubble wrap, separately from the accessories.
-Seal the box tightly with tape, indicating FRAGILE on different sides of the box.
4 – SCHEDULING
Once completed, please send us a photo of your packaging for confirmation. We will then schedule the pickup by the carrier according to your availability and send you the shipping label to print and attach to the top of the package, as well as a payment link for the shipping fees.
Three documents will be required, and you can upload them on the rental form in the designated area:
- A proof of residence dated within the last three months (gas/electricity bill, internet subscription, or other).
- A copy of your ID card or passport (front and back).
- A security deposit check (which will not be cashed) for an amount equal to the value of the instrument should be sent to us by mail at the following address: 37 rue Sainte Geneviève 29600 MORLAIX – FRANCE.
Yes, a security deposit is required when renting a lyre. The amount of the deposit depends on the type of lyre being rented and will be specified on the rental form. The security deposit must be provided in the form of a check, which will not be cashed. As stated on the form, this check must be made payable to Lyre Academy and sent to the following address:

Receipt of this check is mandatory to initiate the shipment of your rental instrument. The check will be returned to you at the end of the rental period after verification of the condition of the lyre.
Our rental packages have a minimum commitment period of 15 or 24 months. If you wish to terminate the rental before the end of your 15 or 24-month commitment, cancellation fees will apply as per our rental terms and conditions.
If the lyre is damaged during the rental period, you must contact us immediately. We will assess the damages and determine the necessary actions to be taken.
